A Collection of "Encyclopedia" Photos

As I was preparing for my trip to Africa, I tried to read everything I could about what to expect and how to best photograph the animals I hoped to see during my safari. I read with great amusement one author who suggested that visitors avoid taking a collection of "encyclopedia" photographs, you know, the ones of just the animal standing there with a caption beneath it "ELEPHANT".

In his honor, here is a collection of my encyclopedia photos!
